Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate cooking equipment efficiently, including assembling/dismantling equipment and maintaining product specifications through adjustments as needed.
  • •Monitor and ensure product quality, perform wash down procedures, and inspect equipment prior to setup for cleanliness and mechanical deficiencies.
  • •Troubleshoot machinery issues and keep the supervisor and maintenance informed of repairs needed.
  • •Complete QA checks and maintain required paperwork, including downtime sheets, weight sheets, raw material usage, product loss forms, updated specifications, and HACCP documentation.
  • •Follow safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out), segregate and mark batch/resource/product changeovers, and report food-safety deficiencies.
