Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing development of the client’s security architecture.
  • •Identify business objectives, user needs, risk appetite, and cyber security obligations; perform threat modelling, risk assessment, and evaluate security control effectiveness.
  • •Verify alignment to “Secure by Design,” corporate security policy/standards, and industry frameworks; develop secure end-to-end solution designs and embedded controls.
  • •Create security architecture assurance gate outputs (design recommendations, documentation, options papers, risk assessments, and stakeholder presentations) and articulate/justify recommendations.
  • •Collaborate across 1st/2nd/3rd lines of defense, support governance/risk/compliance aligned to standards, and actively coach/mentor junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security.
  • •Working knowledge of security frameworks and guidance such as NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and NCSC CAF.
  • •Knowledge of networking concepts including switching, routing, and firewalls.
  • •Awareness/practice of cloud security concepts, including AWS and/or Microsoft Azure native security capabilities.
  • •Understanding of modern security concepts, attack vectors, threat intelligence, and security testing/vulnerability management (including pen testing/ITHC, CVSS/CVE), plus experience with security standards such as ISO 27001/27002.
  • •Any one of CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CRISC (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
