Key Responsibilities

  • •Remove and install machine components to ensure safe, efficient production equipment operation.
  • •Troubleshoot machine/system failures and recommend solutions for repair.
  • •Collaborate with process technicians and operators to understand failure causes and component fabrication needs.
  • •Design, fabricate, and weld machine components or fixtures; conduct test runs of adjustments to ensure safe operation and quality standards.
  • •Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections, maintain maintenance tools/work areas, and maintain/adjust preventative maintenance schedules as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • •5+ years of related experience in a fast-paced industrial setting; multi-skilled technician experience in extrusion or injection molding is a plus.
  • •Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed, and attend off-site training.
  • •Strong electrical and hydraulic skills, with working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical/mechanical power transmission systems.
  • •Ability to read hydraulic and electrical prints and mechanical drawings, lift up to 40 lbs, and follow OSHA regulations.
