Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in optics, optical engineering, applied physics, or a closely related field.
  • •10-15 years of non-academic work experience, preferably in an enterprise environment and enterprise-scale engineering.
  • •Deep expertise in free-space optics, lens design, fiber optics, lasers, and optical system characterization/testing.
  • •Experience bringing complex optical systems from concept to production.
  • •Proficiency with Mechanical CAD tools (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks), PDM/PLM software, and optical simulation software (e.g., Zemax).
