Job Summary

Lead aviation energy and utilities infrastructure programs at active airports, driving projects from concept through commissioning. Serve as a technical leader and trusted owner’s representative for CUP/CHRP/COGEN facilities, managing multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Own project scopes, schedules, budgets, and staffing while ensuring compliance with airport design standards, regulations, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage aviation energy and utility infrastructure projects (CUP/CHRP/COGEN) from concept through commissioning.
•Serve as a technical expert for energy and utility systems, including turbines, electrical, and controls.
•Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and technical approaches.
•Ensure compliance with airport design standards, regulations, quality, and safety; oversee design quality, constructability reviews, and risk management.
•Coordinate with airport owners, airlines, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders; manage procurement, construction, testing, permitting, and commissioning activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
•10+ years of experience in airport energy and utility infrastructure projects, especially cogeneration.
•Strong knowledge of PANYNJ design and construction standards or similar airport authorities and regulatory requirements.
•Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and complex aviation projects.
•Experience in program management and/or serving as an owner’s representative for major projects.
