•Monitor and authorize entrance and departure to maintain security and safety.
•Patrol for signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
•Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and report daily activities and irregularities; apprehend or evict violators as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
•Currently an active member of the local police force, in good standing.
•Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
•Ability to perform duties professionally and make independent judgment decisions within policy and procedures.
•Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; constant walking, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs+.
