Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute sales strategy to drive growth across Transportation sectors and practices in UK&I.
  • •Build long-term client and contractor partnerships, develop strategic partnerships with other organisations, and support long-term transport solutions aligned to client outcomes.
  • •Conduct competitive and market analysis, develop investment proposals, and advise where future revenue streams and growth opportunities will develop.
  • •Support pipeline analysis and cross-functional alignment with Strategy & Growth, Market Sectors, Practices, and Marcomms to ensure feasible client solutions.
  • •Represent AECOM at industry events and engage with internal stakeholders including Client Account Managers and contractor partnership leads.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15+ years in business development or growth strategy in leadership roles.
  • •Proven track record of revenue generation, position development, and leading strategic partnerships.
  • •Deep knowledge of the Transportation market in UK&I, particularly Rail, with a strong network across Rail clients and Tier 1/2 contractors.
  • •Experience with public sector procurement, including framework agreements.
  • •Demonstrable ability to drive and execute strategic plans across complex multi-disciplinary teams.
