•Provide transmission line engineering leadership, including designs, calculations, reviews, and technical advisory support.
•Lead work package delivery excellence by ensuring technical verification tasks are completed and work follows AECOM technical standards and processes.
•Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (including structural and civil) to deliver innovative, technically strong solutions.
•Act as a trusted advisor to build and maintain client relationships for transmission line design work packages.
•Provide technical direction and mentoring, supporting graduate and early-stage engineers across teams and offices.

Key Requirements

•8+ years’ experience in transmission line engineering with design experience across concept, tender, and detailed design stages for complex transmission and distribution projects.
•Experience delivering transmission line work packages and design approaches aligned to client standards for grid-scale transmission projects.
•Engineering consulting sector experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams on scope, budget, and timeline delivery.
•Proficiency with PLS-CADD (including CADD, Tower and Pole applications), with AutoCAD and Neara beneficial.
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Structural, or related Engineering discipline, ideally with postgraduate qualification (Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent preferred).
