Job Summary

Lead end-to-end automation initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing setting in Hsinchu. Develop and validate automated assembly processes with DFx focus, drive cost and waste reduction, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and throughput. Bring strong CAD (Creo) and GD&T skills, plus hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, PCBA processes, and data-driven quality tools.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Provide end-to-end manufacturing assembly process solutions, including DFx (design for manufacturing, design for assembly, design for 6-sigma, design for testing)
•Identify, assess, and apply risk mitigation strategies, leading investigations of issues and driving corrective actions
•Review CM readiness, develop assembly fixtures and jigs, and establish clear assembly/manufacturing specifications through a step-by-step validation process
•Gather feedback through DFx, yield issues, and repair center activities to improve workflow efficiency and identify improvement opportunities
•Develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes to meet high standards of quality and efficiency

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience
•5+ years of proven experience developing and implementing automation solutions in manufacturing
•Validated mechanical/thermal architecture mentality, expertise in GD&T, tolerance analysis, and 2D drawing with focus on manufacturing risk
•Familiarity with equipment used in manufacturing and PCBA-related manufacturing processes; electrical/electro-mechanical components
•Proficiency in CAD software (Creo preferred), strong written and verbal English communication, willingness to travel
