Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and update personal tool inventory quarterly and complete daily work assignments from the customer or supervisor.
  • •Troubleshoot, identify problems, and complete repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems by phone or on site.
  • •Understand and follow warranty policy; initiate processing warranty claim reports in the field.
  • •Follow safety and environmental requirements, including proper PPE use and promoting safe work practices.
  • •As a higher-level technician, evaluate warranty claims, submit service reports, develop customer-specific solutions, rebuild components to OEM specifications, and serve as a subject matter expert for training other technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous work experience demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics.
  • •Possess own hand tools and maintain/expand a personal tool inventory using Epiroc’s required tool list.
  • •Complete TL1 and TL2 training and Safe Start Modules 1-5 within the first year (or as specified by level).
  • •Maintain required US Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration training certificates (or complete training by required dates).
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license; if required to operate a commercial vehicle over 26,001 pounds, be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate CDL (DOT purposes).
