Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and manage day-to-day EHS for a fast-paced construction project and ensure contractor EHS programs are understood and followed.
  • •Conduct hazard identification inspections and implement mitigations to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • •Collaborate on job hazard assessments, define PPE requirements and safeguards, and implement health and safety policies emphasizing mechanical construction activities.
  • •Provide technical oversight for high-risk mechanical construction tasks, including crane and rigging operations, heavy equipment use, welding, and steel fabrication.
  • •Investigate incidents, spills, injuries, and occupational diseases to determine root causes, establish corrective and preventive actions, and provide safety training to construction personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5+ years of experience overseeing environmental, health, and safety disciplines within the construction industry.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with high-risk mechanical construction activities including crane and rigging operations, heavy equipment, welding, and fabrication.
  • •Ability to interpret, apply, and document federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
