Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and contribute to marketing and negotiation of casualty business within Lloyd’s and Company Markets in line with marketing strategy.
  • •Lead brokerage activities including lead quote broking, follow-market broking, presenting terms, firm order broking, and recording activity in market sheets.
  • •Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members, support their day-to-day work, and act as an escalation point.
  • •Set SMART objectives, run monthly check-ins on progress, and help establish career development plans for team members.
  • •Develop submission and placement materials, provide benchmarking/placement advice, handle client meetings and A/C queries, and maintain a pipeline while ensuring FCA compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in the London casualty market (preferably also US market experience), with international/UK experience considered.
  • •Experience with energy liabilities (an advantage).
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills for client and network interactions.
  • •Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes, with excellent technical insurance knowledge.
  • •Experience managing effective client relationships and prior experience managing and/or mentoring team members.
