Job Summary

Support legal advisory across deal execution, acquisitions, and investment transactions, including drafting and reviewing documents, managing legal due diligence, and coordinating local counsel. Provide legal, regulatory, and corporate governance guidance to manage key legal and regulatory risks. Assist in contract negotiation and risk mitigation for project finance, delivery, and operations, while also supporting corporate secretarial workstreams and external counsel oversight.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide transactional legal support for deal execution, including drafting/reviewing documents and supporting negotiations and transaction structuring.
•Advise on legal, regulatory, and corporate governance matters to enable informed decisions and manage legal and regulatory risks.
•Assist with drafting and reviewing agreements and contracts, including risk assessment and action planning, with guidance from senior team members.
•Support corporate workstreams such as company secretarial administration, board packs, resolutions, POAs, corporate registers, KYC requests, statutory filings, and liaison with corporate service providers.
•Lead day-to-day legal support across project finance and project delivery/operations, including drafting/negotiating project agreements, permitting support, land and transmission agreements, procurement documentation, and contractual interpretation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in law from an internationally reputable university.
•Admission to practice in the UAE or an internationally recognised jurisdiction.
•At least 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in an international law firm.
•Good knowledge of the UAE’s laws, regulations, and legal reporting standards.
•Knowledge of contracts pre-assessment, negotiation, formulation, and management.
