  • •Organize logistics and provide administration for access initiatives to broaden inclusion for diverse audiences.
  • •Produce access-centered interpretive materials, including gallery activities, sensory materials, and online resources.
  • •Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to develop accessible collateral and promotional email/printed campaigns.
  • •Research best practices and prepare case studies as directed by the Senior Director of Learning and Engagement.
  • •Represent the Museum in community meetings and events, support budgeting and reporting on program outcomes and impact.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BFA in art, arts administration, art history, art education, African American Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •2–4 years of relevant professional experience in museum education, arts and culture, community engagement, accessibility, disability inclusion, or related fields.
  • •Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing public-facing programs for diverse audiences.
  • •Demonstrated passion for accessibility and familiarity with care-centered frameworks for educational pedagogy.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
