Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee Intermediate Quantity Surveyors’ day-to-day delivery of cost management processes across programme projects.
  • •Develop and maintain resourcing and cost management processes, systems, and administrative procedures to support timely cost reporting.
  • •Develop the cost management strategy for the programme and monitor compliance with cost control standards; escalate non-conformance.
  • •Oversee variations, monthly cashflow forecasting, and amendments/variances including retention and liquidated damages, and advise on financial impacts of risks.
  • •Prepare and review measurement, schedules of rates/Bills of Quantities, monthly valuation and payment certificates, and contribute to final accounts and contractor claims responses.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years’ experience, at least 3+ years within the aviation/transport infrastructure industry.
  • •Clear understanding of and ability to work with construction contract commercial documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • •Strong experience delivering technically complex, high-value infrastructure projects.
  • •Experience in a comparable consultancy environment, or with a client or contractor organisation.
  • •Knowledge of cost management principles, methods, techniques, and tools, including the standard method of measurement.
