Job Summary

Lead Commercial Product Development work supporting polyethylene, Catalloy, and especially polypropylene resin production. Drive medium-term polymerization process and product development projects from initiation through qualification and commercialization, including pilot and commercial test runs. Define polymer composition and predict performance, connect catalyst architecture to polymer microstructure and properties, and verify customer needs. Provide manufacturing and operational excellence support via process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage medium-term product and polymerization process development/improvement projects from initiation through qualification to commercialization.
•Support commercial scale-up of new/improved products and polymer technologies to meet business objectives.
•Provide manufacturing support, process improvement initiatives, and activities aimed at operational excellence and continuous improvement.
•Define polymer composition, predict resin performance for targeted conversion processes, markets, and end-use applications.
•Lead efforts to link catalyst architecture and polymer microstructure to desired product properties and ensure alignment with Product Stewardship and Regulatory requirements.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•PhD, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience.
•Preferred disciplines: Polymer Science/Engineering, Plastics/Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science/Engineering.
•Demonstrated experience with resin characterization methods, product performance testing, and polymer processing technologies.
•Strong project management and results-oriented approach with clear oral and written communication.
•Ability to conduct scouting research and design experiments to develop proof of concept and establish technical and commercial feasibility.
