Perform equipment diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on gasoline and diesel powered equipment, including light-wheel vehicle powertrain and chassis components. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, operate and maintain vehicles and shop tools, and complete work orders and maintenance records. Work with a variety of tools and equipment while following safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform equipment diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs on gasoline/diesel equipment
•Troubleshoot and perform unit maintenance on internal combustion engines and vehicle components
•Operate tools and equipment (e.g., cutting torch, welder, forklift, power tools, electric meters)
•Test and operate vehicles/equipment and respond to call-out maintenance duties
•Complete maintenance forms, work orders, and records while following safety procedures

Key Requirements

•Hands-on related experience operating equipment/heavy machinery
•Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs
•Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC clearance and/or other required security clearances
•Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
