Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design activities within a multidisciplinary team for data centre and infrastructure projects.
  • •Coordinate integrated architectural and engineering outputs with discipline leads and discipline-specific governance at bid and delivery stages.
  • •Oversee review and approval of drawing/design information, including third-party/vendor/subcontractor documentation and compliance with relevant standards and permits.
  • •Manage design activities to meet demanding timelines, ensuring correctness, accuracy, and technical excellence in delivered documentation.
  • •Provide people leadership: line management/mentoring of less experienced team members and support Associate Directors/Directors with initiatives, resourcing, and training (CPD).
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Fully qualified architect with ARB registration and proven experience on large multi-disciplinary design projects, preferably in infrastructure.
  • •Experience producing design work across multiple RIBA stages and coordinating within multidisciplinary architectural and engineering teams.
  • •Preferred: RIBA Part 3 or RIBA Part 2 (or equivalent European/International qualification).
  • •Degree qualification (preferably diploma or masters), plus knowledge of UK building systems, standards, and regulations.
  • •IT literate with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.), able to manage deadlines and workload.
