Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of engineers and own the InfoSec roadmap aligned to Asta’s IT transformation programme.
  • •Implement and maintain security controls across infrastructure and systems, including hardening using IAM/PIM/PAM, encryption, and network security best practices.
  • •Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM/EDR and other tools, investigate incidents using logs and forensic techniques, and lead containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • •Define and drive delivery of the end-to-end security programme across PAM, EDR, NDR, SIEM, penetration testing, DLP, and compliance; translate regulatory obligations into technical controls.
  • •Provide client security advisory and managed services, support audits and documentation (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2, Lloyd’s Principle 12), and manage simulated phishing campaigns.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience, including 3-4+ years in a lead/management/principal role, combining security engineering with SOC operations or incident response in a regulated industry.
  • •Demonstrable experience leading and developing a security team, and confidently communicating complex security risk to C-suite and board audiences.
  • •Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, defense strategies, OWASP Top 10, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • •Experience with cloud security (Azure/AWS), IAM, secrets management, encryption, and certificate management, plus Microsoft 365 security suite capabilities.
  • •Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, CrowdStrike Falcon, Log Rhythm, Sentinel, Microsoft Defender) and tools such as Varonis, Tenable, and Pentera.
