Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment and tools using independent judgment.
  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues by pulling data across makes and models.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and ensure documentation/electronic work orders are complete and timely daily.
  • •Determine root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly using real-time information.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Demonstrate extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Have superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Hold a high school diploma; trade school certificate is preferred.
  • •Be able to move/stand/stoop/bend freely and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
