Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure application of GAAP and Yum! Accounting Policies for KFC U.S. AR accounting, including AFDA, period-over-period royalty analysis, effective rate analysis, brand collection meetings, and miscellaneous billings.
  • •Prepare and ensure timely completion of account reconciliations, journal entries, and other SOX control requirements.
  • •Facilitate period and quarterly reporting for KFC U.S., including pre-close meetings and assistance with AR deck pages.
  • •Investigate discrepancies, resolve billing and payment issues, and support the timely and accurate recording of receivables.
  • •Oversee AR JDE system administration and handle activities such as customer setup, monthly billings, and ad hoc inquiries using relevant systems/tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field).
  • •At least 2 years of experience in public or private industry accounting.
  • •Strong computer skills, including experience with JDE and Microsoft products (Excel Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • •Preferred: experience with a large company and/or in the QSR/retail environment.
