Key Responsibilities

•Manage and optimise an agency lending trading book across equities, fixed income, and cash, including allocation of inventory to maximise risk-adjusted returns.
•Deliver against business performance targets, including counterparty/market revenue and balance targets, using benchmarking and performance tools.
•Monitor performance versus plan and recommend tactical changes in response to market developments and evolving priorities.
•Manage collateral and liquidity considerations, including cash liquidity needs and contributions to target Return on Risk Weighted Assets (RoRWA).
•Use securities lending and market systems effectively (Trading applications, Global 1, custody platforms GCS/GHSS, Bloomberg) with strong Excel proficiency; VBA/programming languages are beneficial.

•Strong capability in securities lending pricing, including pricing methodologies and drivers of demand and market dynamics.
•Demonstrated ability to build and maintain counterparty relationships across European market participants (e.g., prime brokers and repo/funding desks).
•Strong risk management and governance discipline, including trading within limits/frameworks and escalating issues appropriately.
