Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate first-line incidents in local datacenter and IT-room environments and identify causes of hardware, cabling, rack/power/port/connectivity, or physical infrastructure issues.
  • •Execute approved service requests and IMACD tasks (rack & stack, install/deinstall/moves, hardware swaps, cabling, labeling, tape handling, hard resets, and visual verification).
  • •Perform basic physical checks and maintenance (temperature, power, airflow, cabling, status indicators, PDU redundancy, rack mapping, hot/cold aisle alignment, basic hardware diagnostics).
  • •Support local server, storage, backup, network, and security hardware activities including installation, removal, replacement, connection, testing, and physical verification.
  • •Document all work and changes in ticketing/asset/CMDB/spare-part systems and follow handover, documentation, and escalation processes between shifts and teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed technical training or comparable hands-on experience in IT, electrical, networking, datacenter, or infrastructure environments.
  • •First experience troubleshooting and providing onsite support for datacenter, network, systems, hardware, or monitoring services within a mid- to large ICT organization.
  • •Fundamental practical knowledge of physical datacenter infrastructure (servers, storage/backup, network components, racks, structured cabling, rack & stack, labeling, hardware swap, remote hands, IMACD, break/fix).
  • •Experience using ticketing systems and documenting inspection, implementation, handover, and solution steps.
  • •Ability to follow documented processes (runbooks), change approvals, security requirements, and quality standards consistently.
