Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide cleanroom first line support to production processes and troubleshoot engineering disturbances related to optical alignment and metrology.
  • •Troubleshoot module test and final qual issues, manufacturing tooling, and optical metrology equipment issues.
  • •Perform optical engineering steps including re-computation of nominal optical design and correction of optical aberrations.
  • •Run image processing algorithms to extract nm flatness from interferometer data and analyze MATLAB scripts and database plots.
  • •Support diagnostics qualification and implementation, evaluate failed parts, and help develop manufacturing procedures, technical work instructions, and PFMEA.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Optical Engineering (Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering).
  • •Knowledge of optical metrology setups such as interferometers, Shack–Hartmann sensor, polarimetry/ellipsometry, and optical alignment.
  • •Working knowledge of geometric optics, wave optics, Gaussian propagation, and aberration theory.
  • •Working knowledge of image/signal/data processing algorithms, statistics, and software development.
  • •Experience in a production environment and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing; familiarity with FMEA/statistical process control is a plus.
