Key Responsibilities

  • •Support customer RMF workflow and processes by proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information system security policies, instructions, standards, and methodologies.
  • •Review and approve customer requests related to access, devices, and other authorizations; evaluate the impact of network and system changes using RMF processes.
  • •Manage multiple projects throughout Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) from concept through Authority to Operate (ATO) and conduct periodic SSP compliance reviews.
  • •Coordinate with system stakeholders to mitigate vulnerabilities in POA&Ms and provide recommendations for configuration deviations from required baselines.
  • •Ensure security configuration management and documentation are maintained for security-relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware; monitor system recovery procedures and formally notify stakeholders when changes affect authorization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
  • •4+ years of related experience.
  • •Security+ certification.
  • •Demonstrated experience with RMF, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53/53A, and STIGs.
  • •Experience with ServiceNow, Tenable, and other SCAP-compliant tools; strong documentation skills to create and update security policies and procedures.
