Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent the distribution center as the Sanitary Responsible before COFEPRIS, maintaining registrations, files, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Lead and continuously improve the quality management system by translating regulatory and P&G requirements into procedures, controls, training, and indicators.
  • •Oversee quality decisions and conditions across storage and distribution: receipt, storage, release, shipment, distribution, and product disposition.
  • •Manage deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control, complaints, non-conforming products, recalls, and quality risks, ensuring traceability and timely closure.
  • •Approve and monitor suppliers, customers, and outsourced/3PL activities, and coordinate audits, inspections, continuous improvement, and risk communication with internal areas and health authorities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and professional license in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field eligible for registration as Sanitary Responsible with COFEPRIS.
  • •Minimum 4 years of experience in quality, regulatory compliance, and supply chain operations.
  • •Solid knowledge of Mexican sanitary regulations and experience managing procedures, files, and COFEPRIS audit readiness.
  • •Knowledge and application of NOM-059-SSA1-2015, NOM-241-SSA1, NOM-259-SSA1-2022, and NOM-251-SSA1-2009.
  • •Proficiency in SAP or an ERP/WMS system and experience managing deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control, audits, non-conforming products, and recalls.
