Deliver heavy equipment safely and on time from EquipmentShare’s rental facility, operating according to state and federal transportation laws. Use company technology to access fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details, maneuver trucks and trailers for loading/unloading, and assist with equipment handling when needed. Maintain required delivery paperwork and documentation, perform basic truck checks and routine service tasks, and support a team focused on safer, more productive construction.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment; unload empty skids and return equipment to the designated area.
•Maintain signed invoices and shipping bills of lading and deliver required documentation when routes are complete; facilitate routine truck service and report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

•Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
•Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.

•Must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
