Job Summary

Operate and assist with maintenance of a sand/gravel quarry sand plant and dredge equipment. Follow MSHA/OSHA/DOT and site safety rules, perform daily safety assignments and area inspections, and help ensure a compliant, safe work environment. Monitor operations, make necessary adjustments and maintenance (including grease and oil levels), complete daily production reports, and support proper startup/shutdown and communication with plant/dredge teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and assist in maintenance of the plant and dredge at the sand/gravel quarry.
•Ensure compliance with safety policies through daily safety assignments, area inspections, pre-shifts, and toolbox talks.
•Oversee a safe work environment by confirming personnel have appropriate tools and equipment.
•Communicate regularly with plant/dredge to keep processes aligned with standards.
•Monitor operation and perform necessary adjustments and maintenance (including oil levels and grease dredge), plus complete daily production reports.

Key Requirements

•Conduct daily safety assignments including area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, and TRACK.
•Operate and assist in maintenance of the sand/gravel quarry plant and dredge, including safe startup/shutdown and monitoring operations.
•Maintain safe working conditions by ensuring personnel have appropriate tools and equipment and conducting toolbox talks.
•High school Diploma or GED equivalent (1–2 years operating heavy equipment or related experience preferred).
