Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage in all phases of the program lifecycle, including bidding, planning, and execution.
  • •Estimate, track, own, and report project technical, cost, and schedule.
  • •Perform system development lifecycle activities including requirements capture, system design and modeling, integration of hardware/software components, and system validation/verification.
  • •Work with external customers to document operational scenarios, develop system requirements and interfaces, and perform system validation testing.
  • •Mentor and coach other team members and identify/recommend process, system, and product improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace/SysEng/Software Eng/Computer Eng (or related) with at least 5 years of progressive Aerospace-industry experience as a software/systems engineer; or Master’s with at least 3 years in the same roles.
  • •3+ years of experience with avionics system/software development, including familiarity with business or regional aircraft architectures.
  • •3+ years of experience with aircraft/avionics standards (DO-178B/C, ARP 4754, and/or DO-297).
  • •3+ years using systems/software engineering processes and tools such as DOORS, PREP, JIRA, JAMA, Subversion, GitLab, and Agile Scrum.
  • •At least 3+ years of experience across requirements, test, validation, verification, and integration for an architecturally complex system/subsystem; plus project management, cost account management, and scheduling/bidding scope/cost experience.
  • •3 years progressive experience as software engineer or systems engineer in aerospace industry
  • •authorization to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future for non-U.S. persons
