Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for directing others in producing detailed and performance specifications for electrical building services, with review before issue.
  • •Review design programmes and ensure sufficient resourcing to complete works in line with technical and commercial performance and delivery.
  • •Supervise completion of detailed designs and supervise the work of others in the function.
  • •Consider project feasibility for the discipline and lead overall feasibility studies.
  • •Train and mentor staff while working with minimal supervision on technical aspects or through specialist experience.

  • •Proven track record delivering UK Building Services projects across different sectors and scales.
  • •Experience directing the production of detailed and performance specifications, subject to review by colleagues.
  • •Ability to engage in technical discussions with clients, contractors, and design team members and coordinate effectively.
  • •Detailed understanding of relevant regulations for the discipline and ability to demonstrate this through calculations.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical design software (e.g., AMTECH or Electrical OM) and Revit MEP or other 3D design software; must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).
