Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain laboratories and workshops, including installation, demonstration, and troubleshooting of equipment and facilities.
  • •Set up labs in preparation for experiments and ensure supplies are available with proper documentation.
  • •Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, manuals, and maintenance logs for laboratory equipment.
  • •Manage consumable inventory, track borrowed equipment and tools, and reinforce safety and housekeeping procedures.
  • •Provide on-the-job task training, respond to questions within area of expertise, and coordinate with other Health Sciences programs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • •3+ years of experience in setup and maintenance of laboratories.
  • •Knowledge of laboratory instruments, equipment, tools, and consumables.
  • •Strong installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols.
