Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Machining Operations to ensure on-time delivery and uphold quality standards.
  • •Create CNC machine programs from NX.
  • •Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • •Design and update jigs, fixtures and tooling, including drawings for manufacture.
  • •Raise orders for new equipment as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • •Experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer within aerospace, automotive or industrial sectors.
  • •Experience with CNC machining including sheet metal parts, castings, complex parts machined from billet, and complex assemblies.
  • •Good understanding of technical drawings and GD&T, including technical drawing interpretation.
  • •Experience with Mazak and Matsuura controls and G Code, plus CAD (ideally NX) and PLM (Teamcenter) are preferred.
