Job Summary

Join Carvana’s rapidly growing Corporate Tax team in Tempe to support federal and state income tax work. Assist with multi-state tax compliance, extensions and estimates, quarterly/year-end tax provisions under ASC 740, and related GAAP work papers. You’ll prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations, collaborate on taxable income projections and unclaimed property compliance, maintain tax fixed asset schedules, and conduct preliminary tax research using industry tools.

•Assist in preparing federal and state income tax returns, including detail support and multi-state apportionment calculations.
•Prepare multi-state income tax extensions and estimated tax payment calculations.

•Perform corporate tax-related accounting work including month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
•Collaborate on taxable income projections, forecasting, unclaimed property reporting/compliance, fixed asset schedules, and preliminary tax research.

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.

•Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data manipulation).
•Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain numbers clearly.
