Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement the company Damage Prevention Program by performing and coordinating patrolling, locating, construction inspection, and excavation inspection of pipeline and related facilities.
  • •Locate and mark facilities and perform pipeline patrols, population density surveys, leak detection surveys, and inspections per company procedures.
  • •Coordinate local/state damage prevention activities and provide oversight and inspection to ensure asset protection and compliance during excavation near pipeline facilities.
  • •Inspect projects and oversee third-party construction/maintenance, serving as company representative and reporting progress to Operations and Project Manager with required documentation and as-builts.
  • •Process State One-Call locate requests using company software, participate in emergency responder programs and safety initiatives, and complete mapping/record-keeping and compliance activities (including PHMSA/State agencies).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Experience with natural gas pipeline safety regulations, construction, inspection, operations and maintenance, especially line locating and damage prevention.
  • •Valid Driver’s license.
  • •Proficiency with basic computer skills (including MS Office and company software) and accuracy in processing State One-Call locate requests.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, alignment sheets, and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and to work outdoors in extreme weather with required physical demands.
