Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and lead SRE teams, providing guidance, coaching, and enabling continuous learning and improvement.
  • •Oversee day-to-day production support: track incidents, respond timely, and review/analyze issues at level 2.
  • •Build and automate observability outputs, including alerting and dashboards using Splunk, Grafana, and Kibana.
  • •Collaborate with software engineering to design and implement improvements that raise system resilience, scalability, and performance.
  • •Lead chaos engineering experiments and resiliency tests, plan drills, and ensure recovery from disruptions using SRE principles across the organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or comparable experience; advance degree preferred.
  • •Knowledge of modern observability tooling (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana) and methods for logging, monitoring, tracing, and performance analysis.
  • •Experience with containerization and microservices architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-based SRE practices on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • •Domain knowledge of Cards Payments systems, including end-to-end workflows of authorization approval and clearing & reconciliation.
  • •Experience in application support (including cloud-based environments) and incident management systems such as ServiceNow; familiarity with agile delivery methods.
