Job Summary

Own probe strategy and silicon learning across wafer test, from pre-silicon design-to-probe staging and first-silicon bring-up through qualification and high-volume manufacturing. Define probe coverage intent, establish limits and guard-bands, and drive yield, quality, and test-cost outcomes using silicon characterization data. Partner with Design, DFT, DV, Process Integration, Backend Test, and Reliability teams to translate product risk into robust, manufacturable probe strategies and enable AI/ML-driven test optimization.
Location: Singapore
Workplace: Onsite
Employment Type: Full time
Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering
Seniority: Mid level

Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own probe coverage intent by mapping design features, device behavior, and process risks into probe observability, screening mechanisms, trims, and guard-bands.
  • •Define, release, and sustain probe test flows from first silicon through qualification and HVM while meeting coverage objectives without excessive test overhead.
  • •Support first-silicon bring-up and perform device characterization to inform probe limits and screening strategy; correlate early silicon behavior with probe results to identify gaps.
  • •Enable yield, quality, and reliability outcomes by driving wafer-level yield learning, bin definitions, and failure-mode analysis at probe.
  • •Improve test efficiency and cost by right-sizing coverage and optimizing flows, and apply probe/inline/reliability data for yield analysis, anomaly detection, and decision support (including AI/ML initiatives).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, or Phd in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering (hardware/circuits/semiconductor focus), Semiconductor Physics, or related field.
  • •Strong fundamentals in semiconductor devices, wafer test, and product engineering.
  • •Use silicon behavior and characterization data to make informed probe, yield, and coverage decisions.
  • •Experience or strong interest in silicon learning, device behavior, yield mechanisms, DFT intent, or design-to-manufacturing integration.
  • •Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive structured root-cause analysis and communicate across global, cross-functional teams.
