Key Responsibilities

  • •Benchmark system and database performance, and perform performance analysis including capacity sizing and optimization.
  • •Troubleshoot and debug applications and server errors by analyzing logs and triaging issues.
  • •Recommend configuration tuning and optimizations to resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • •Partner with core, cloud, and security teams to improve ClickHouse Cloud performance.
  • •Plan and run Chaos Engineering initiatives, including building tools to execute chaos experiments and measure impact.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • •Software development experience in Go, C/C++, Java, or similar.
  • •Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and distributed system architecture deployment.
  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes.
  • •Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and its infrastructure-as-a-service offerings (e.g., EC2).
