Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day onsite lab services at a client facility in Nijmegen, leading a team of lab operations and support associates. Serve as the primary liaison with VWR Services, coordinate daily delivery, track KPIs, and ensure operational objectives are met. Manage safety and operational documentation, prioritize workloads, and support quality control workflows involving critical lab resources. Drive continuous improvement, develop staff, and collaborate across Production, Quality Control, Facilities, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee day-to-day operations of a team of lab operations and support associates at customer facilities to meet operational objectives.
•Lead and coordinate daily onsite service delivery and manage overall program performance via operational reviews, KPI tracking, and performance reporting.
•Set daily goals, review team performance, and prioritize workload execution to align with broader operational plans.
•Manage safety and operational documentation and address operational issues within lab scope through data analysis and practical solutions.
•Serve as primary liaison between the client and VWR Services; coordinate staffing, training, associate development, and resource planning while supporting stakeholders as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent relevant industry experience.
•Proven people management experience, including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and employee development.
•Experience creating safety and operational documentation, including work instructions, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation.
•Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), GxP regulations, and audit requirements.
•Experience with inventory and stock management systems and methodologies such as Kanban.
