Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise stakeholders on legal issues and concepts.
  • •Lead end-to-end negotiations for high-value MSAs and other commercial agreements with major banks and financial institutions.
  • •Own negotiations with data and content providers, including data-licensing and partnership agreements.
  • •Collaborate with Sales, Product, Security, and Operations to structure business-aligned agreements and translate legal concepts into actionable guidance.
  • •Implement and manage Rogo’s commercial contracting infrastructure using legal tech tools; build negotiation templates, playbooks, and approval workflows, and partner with the Head of Legal on strategic initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Be licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.
  • •JD from a top law school and 3–6 years of legal experience (technology transactions, IP, emerging companies, and/or in-house at a high-growth SaaS/data/AI company preferred).
  • •Own and close commercial agreements independently, with strong knowledge of IP licensing, privacy, data-use rights, and AI.
  • •Implement and manage legal tech tools, with enthusiasm for building scalable systems and processes from scratch.
  • •Interest in new technologies, software, and finance, with sound commercial judgment in a fast-moving startup environment.
