Key Responsibilities

  • •Verify quality of workmanship and airworthiness of aircraft and aircraft components completed by Aviation Maintenance personnel.
  • •Perform initial aircraft inspections at Maintenance Bases and overhaul inspections where maintenance is occurring.
  • •Conduct required inspection tasks including Non-destructive Testing (NDT) and borescope inspections.
  • •Perform double-check inspections upon request to assist airworthiness decisions.
  • •Interpret and complete inspection documentation, tools/equipment usage, and sign mechanical flight releases.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year verifiable job-related work experience and qualified in the basic Classification.
  • •Meet medical requirements established for the Inspector classification, including ongoing annual examinations.

  • •Pass FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
  • •Valid driver’s license and FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
