Key Responsibilities

  • •Review plans and specifications and develop accurate cost estimates for Trane materials, subcontractors, non-Trane equipment, labor, and related construction activities.
  • •Provide technical selection and pricing of equipment for each project and advise on facility-related solutions.
  • •Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to support HVAC system design and installation requirements.
  • •Develop, evaluate, and discuss solutions with internal teams and external partners (Account Manager, Project Manager, subcontractor, supplier, and/or customer).
  • •Prepare, finalize, and review proposals and equipment submittals; support selling strategy and fulfillment scheduling with the project team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business management preferred, with 3–5 years of estimating, project management, engineering, HVAC, or construction management experience.
  • •3–5 years experience in estimating/proposal work with a strong focus on accuracy and details (quantity, configuration, voltage, options).
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • •Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
