Key Responsibilities

  • •Design mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering solutions for web press products using established engineering principles and practices.
  • •Provide tier 4 engineering support by investigating hardware-related field and factory issues to determine root causes.
  • •Develop and implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, validating tolerances, form/fit/function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, system power measurements, and acoustics.
  • •Use continuous improvement methods to improve performance, reliability, quality, and reduce cost.
  • •Serve as HP’s technical interface for strategic suppliers and lead/collaborate with cross-functional project teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •Typically 5 to 7 years of engineering experience.
  • •Ability to design mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware solutions using established engineering principles and development guidelines.
  • •Experience delivering technical solutions across the full design cycle from concept/prototype through manufacturing to end of life/obsolescence.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, including clear written and verbal communication (English fluency).
