Key Responsibilities

•Design and build scalable APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications using GraphQL and REST.
•Develop backend systems using languages such as Go, Ruby, TypeScript, or Java.
•Work with PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
•Utilize search technologies (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch) and observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) to monitor and troubleshoot systems.
•Lead projects through the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional partners and mentoring engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications using GraphQL and REST.
•5+ years of experience developing backend systems using Go, Ruby, TypeScript, or Java.
•5+ years of experience working with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query performance optimization.
•3+ years of experience with distributed systems and search technologies such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, plus observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, logs, dashboards).
•3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); proven experience leading projects through the full SDLC and mentoring engineers.
