Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build scalable APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications using GraphQL and REST.
  • •Develop backend systems using languages such as Go, Ruby, TypeScript, or Java.
  • •Work with PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query optimization.
  • •Utilize search technologies (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch) and observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) to monitor and troubleshoot systems.
  • •Lead projects through the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional partners and mentoring engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications using GraphQL and REST.
  • •5+ years of experience developing backend systems using Go, Ruby, TypeScript, or Java.
  • •5+ years of experience working with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including data modeling and query performance optimization.
  • •3+ years of experience with distributed systems and search technologies such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, plus observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, logs, dashboards).
  • •3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes); proven experience leading projects through the full SDLC and mentoring engineers.
