Job Summary

Recondition and prep CarMax vehicles to meet quality and cleanliness standards. Under general supervision, you’ll perform interior/exterior cleaning, paint touch-ups, wet sanding and buffing, and complete final quality inspections. You’ll also assist with zone maintenance, delivery preparation, vehicle receiving, inventory scanning, lot movement, facility upkeep, and provide customer service while following CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Clean and recondition used, new, and customer vehicles to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
•Perform paint touch-ups, wet sanding, buffing, and final quality inspections.
•Maintain and secure display areas and work-in-progress zones for merchandising excellence.
•Prepare vehicles for customer delivery and inter-store transfers; receive and secure shipped vehicles and update records.
•Provide customer service and follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.89 - 18.18 hourly

•Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately.
•Skilled in performing multiple tasks in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
•Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods; requires adherence to attendance, asset protection, and integrity policies.
•Completion of CarMax-provided training in inventory and detailing processes.
