Job Summary

Operate ready-mix trucks safely and professionally in the plant yard, on public roads, and at job sites to deliver concrete products for commercial and residential customers. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain equipment in safe and clean condition, verify mix compliance after loading and at the site, and operate truck components to unload concrete accurately. Clean the truck after deliveries and ensure proper placement of chutes as directed by supervision.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate ready mix trucks safely in the plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at job sites delivering products.
•Maintain equipment in a safe and clean condition.
•Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and verify mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
•Drive the ready mix truck to unloading locations and operate the truck to release concrete via the chute.
•Clean the truck after delivery to prevent hardening and place/operate chutes to deliver product where directed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, and write simple correspondence.
•Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or Class B and a valid DOT-standard Medical Card.
