Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up mold machines for operation, changing material and color to meet production schedules.
  • •Start up machines on time and monitor quality during startup; adjust machines to maintain production levels and document changes.
  • •Perform mold repairs, insert changes, and preventative maintenance as required.
  • •Respond promptly to alarms and requests to resolve machine malfunctions and packer/handler issues; coordinate with QA and Maintenance.
  • •Maintain safe operations (including Lockout/Tagout), complete line clearance and packaging documentation, oversee packaging procedures, and inspect/record scrap.

Key Requirements

  • •High school education / GED equivalent.
  • •Prior plastic injection molding experience is highly preferred.
  • •Possess or obtain a technical understanding of processes and procedures.
  • •Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • •Ability to work independently and as a cross-functional team member with good verbal and written communication.
