Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled inspections, repairs, and maintenance on aircraft systems and subsystems, including lubrication of required components.
  • •Maintain and repair aircraft components across areas such as flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems.
  • •Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions by applying technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems.
  • •Restore equipment condition and/or operation using required maintenance expertise.
  • •Solve moderate to complex issues by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints and manufacturers' manuals.

Key Requirements

  • •Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.
  • •Knowledge of electrical theory.
  • •Thorough knowledge of UH-60 maintenance practices and aircraft unique tools (e.g., test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers).
  • •Ability to pass a T1 background check and complete required aircraft log/records entries using technical publications.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license and have required personal tools per US Army 15T toolbox standards.
