Key Responsibilities

  • •Represent engineering users, champion effective ways of working, and act as a key interface between users and leadership teams.
  • •Own and prioritize the product backlog, defining requirements, acceptance criteria, and feature priorities, and validate completed features.
  • •Lead evolution, consolidation, and migration of hardware engineering applications across secure networks and cloud platforms where appropriate.
  • •Drive retirement of legacy tools, reduction of technical debt, and plan migration/retention/archiving of programme data.
  • •Make technical and product decisions for your area and align UK engineering toolsets with Thales Group workbench roadmaps.

Key Requirements

  • •Practical experience working in a hardware engineering environment.
  • •Strong understanding of hardware engineering processes and best practice.
  • •Experience defining, architecting, implementing, or managing engineering development environments.
  • •Knowledge of one or more disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electronics, interconnect and cabling, or FPGA engineering.
  • •Ability to translate user needs into effective technical solutions and manage stakeholder communication.
