Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop high-quality detailed design packages and engineering deliverables to support implementation of instrumentation and controls designs.
  • •Provide engineering procurement and field technical support, including troubleshooting and technical assessments of plant systems.
  • •Prepare conceptual and Title II design engineering outputs such as calculations, construction specifications & drawings, conduit/cable schedules, one-line diagrams, wiring/schematic diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • •Perform plant walkdowns to generate design documents and provide field support to craft personnel.
  • •Develop control cabinet assembly drawings, system diagrams, control logic, and process control system narratives; provide input to Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 78,075 - 132,766 annually

Key Requirements

  • •ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 10-14 years of experience, or an MS with 10-13 years of experience and 5+ years instrumentation and controls design experience.
  • •Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance (DOE Q desired but not required to start).
  • •Demonstrated experience using the National Electrical Code, UL508A, and relevant ISA standards to design instrumentation and controls systems.
  • •Experience with Rockwell Automation industrial automation software (RSLogix, FactoryTalk View) is preferred.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred; ability to complete pre-employment drug screening and required medical exams/background investigations as part of clearance requirements.
