Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, unload, and sort hogs according to quality and weight.
  • •Identify (tattoo), scale, move, and accurately count livestock, including dead or non-ambulatory animals.
  • •Move hogs from trucks to holding pens and process outgoing livestock.
  • •Monitor yard and truck conditions to ensure livestock are handled properly under corporate and government standards.
  • •Perform livestock handling animal welfare audits and complete required PQA/TQA training.
